Part 107 test prep
VLOSready's Part 107 test prep is 22 narrated lessons, more than 500 practice questions each cited to its FAA source, full 60-question practice exams scored by FAA content area, 55 chart questions on real sectional excerpts and the FAA's own test figures, and 309 flashcards you can download for Anki. Every practice question is cited to its FAA source and checked three separate ways: against the source text, again in a separate review, then answered from the source alone and compared with the answer key.
The question bank
More than 500 practice questions across all five areas of the test. Every one names the FAA source it comes from, the eCFR, the AIM, the Chart Users' Guide or an FAA handbook, and links to it, so a miss sends you to the rule itself.
Each one is checked three separate ways: against the source text, again in a separate review, then answered from the source alone and compared with the answer key. A release can't ship if the numbers in an explanation stop matching the rule text it cites.
Kept current, every week
Every Monday, the 95 regulation sections the questions cite are checked against the eCFR for amendments, the 46 AIM paragraphs are compared word for word with the FAA's current text, and the FAA's testing page is watched for new advisories. Last checked Monday, September 28, 2026. A change gets flagged, and the next release re-checks every question that quotes the changed text.
Practice exams scored like the real one
Each full practice exam draws 60 scored questions at the test's current weighting, with 120 minutes on the clock and 70 percent to pass:
- Regulations: 29 of 60 questions (about 48 percent)
- Airspace and requirements: 12 of 60 questions (about 20 percent)
- Operations: 15 of 60 questions (about 25 percent)
- Weather: 3 of 60 questions (about 5 percent)
- Loading and performance: 1 of 60 questions (about 2 percent)
Results come back by FAA content area, so you see which area to study next, not just a percentage. Single-area practice sets let you work on one area at a time.
Real charts, not drawings
55 chart questions sit on excerpts of current FAA sectionals and on the figures from the FAA's own testing supplement. From October 26, 2026 the test adds chart images you haven't seen before; see what's changing.
Lessons you can see and hear
22 lessons written to the FAA's blueprint, each narrated so you can listen while you read, with checkpoint questions right after the idea they test. 11 interactive explainers draw the hard parts: cloud clearance, the 400-foot structure rule, the traffic pattern, density altitude, LAANC grids, obstacles and the MEF, and airspace in 3D.
Flashcards, yours to keep
309 flashcards with spaced repetition that brings each card back when you're about to forget it, 26 of them on real sectional chart excerpts. Download the whole deck as a CSV or as an Anki import file, with each card's FAA citation, plus 6 printable cheat sheets of the most-tested facts.
